Raw materials certificates & standards

Global Organic Textile Standard ( GOTS ) and Organic Content Standard (OCS)

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an internationally recognized organic textile standard. GOTS ensures the organic status of textiles from the harvesting of raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labeling, to provide credible assurances to the consumer. The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trading, and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70 percent certified organic natural fibers.

Protection of health, safety, and rights of employees. Social Criteria and Ethical Business Behavior are essential prerequisites and assure responsible business practices, irrespective of organic orders at hand.

Cost-effectiveness through sustainability – Certified Entities have access to the GOTS Monitor (Water/Energy) to collect data on water and energy consumption (per kg of textile output). Environmental management and wastewater treatment are highly important when it comes to sustainability.

Only low-impact GOTS Approved Chemical Inputs free from hazardous substances are allowed to be used for the processing of GOTS Goods, following the Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL).

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) set the criteria for third-party certification of recycled materials and chain of custody. The GRS includes a higher (20%) minimum recycled content percentage and additional social and environmental requirements related to processing and chemical use.

Cost-effectiveness through sustainability – Certified Entities have access to the GOTS Monitor (Water/Energy) to collect data on water and energy consumption (per kg of textile output). Environmental management and wastewater treatment are highly important when it comes to sustainability.

Only low-impact GRS Approved Chemical Inputs free from hazardous substances are allowed to be used for the processing of GRS Goods, following the Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL).

Better Cotton (1019064-1)

The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in, and better for the sector’s future. BCI aims to transform cotton production worldwide by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.

we have a membership for BCI to maintain our sustainability.

Regenagri Content Standard ( regenagriCS )

Regenerative Cotton is a revolutionary method of cultivating cotton which seeks to upturn the environmental effects of industrial farming. Its primary goal is to preserve long-term soil health through sequestering carbon, and minimizing water and fertilization usage.
